Australia PR is considered among the most difficult PR visas to get because of
its complex requirements. In 2012, the Australian government launched a new
points system for Skilled Migration Visas. The Qualifying Score became 65 points
for Skilled Subclasses:
Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)
This visa was introduced to meet the growing demand for skilled workers. The
Australian migration department allots points to applicants (at least 65

which specifies job titles for applicants. they can apply for immigration to
Australia. This visa comes with lots of benefits like:

- The permanent residents get health care benefits as well as certain
social security benefits.
- The permanent residents can apply for citizenship after 4 years stay
there.
- A permanent resident can sponsor his/ her family or dependents for
permanent residency.
Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)
Applicants whose professions are not listed in the Skilled Occupation List
can apply for permanent residence to Australia under the Skilled Nominated
Visa (subclass 190). In this program, the candidate has to secure
sponsorship from a state or territory in Australia along with 65 points. An
additional 5 points are awarded if the applicant is nominated by an
